The very first Toy Story released in theaters 20 years ago. That is 20 years to learn all of the lessons Pixar‘s greatest series has to offer.
Before you read further, listen to “You’ve Got a Friend In Me” and realize that it was written about your toys:
1. The toys inside the claw-machine have thoughts and feelings:
2. Actually, all of your toys have feelings and they’ll be heartbroken when you stop playing with them:
Keep them all, forever!
3. You can never take things too literally:
4. When you can’t win, just give up and play tea party:
5. Just because someone is a hugger doesn’t mean they are not a liar:
Lots-O’ you’re one evil bear.
6. But hugs are important when reuniting with friends:
7. Children are the most terrifying creatures on the planet:
8. And they grow up so much faster than you thought:

Especially if you are the child. You go from 15 to 20 in the blink of an eye.
9. Don’t be afraid to tell people how you feel about them:
10. Dance however you want to:
11. And learn how to strike a pose:
12. Be willing to go everywhere with the ones you love:
13. Know how to say goodbye to someone when it’s time:
And give them something to hold on to.
14. Most importantly, it taught us to try and accept everyone:

Toy Story, thanks for the memories. We promise we’ll take good care of the toys we have left.
