Everyone has their favorite Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), but if it’s anything other than Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, then they’re all wrong. Zenon is the best because it still holds up after all these years.
1. It had us speaking a fake language.
2. We also fangirled over a completely fictional super star.
3. Raven Symone’s facial commentary was comedic gold.
4. It actually predicted the future when it came to iPads, Skype, and FaceTime.
5. We were pretty jealous that Zenon’s school was full of personal computers and hologram teachers.
6. There was no other Disney boy we loved more than Greg.
7. Zenon put our angsty feelings into beautiful words.
8. It was actually pretty educational. It explained how computer viruses worked better than any adult ever did.
9. Zenon’s fashion and legging game is still very inspiring.
